Got Tickets?

Got Tickets?

For those of you looking for your season ticket order forms, I just got off the phone with the OSU ticket office. (For the record, it's Wednesday, 9 September 2009).

They said ticket orders should go out "in the next week or two." The reason was 'cause there were waiting for the "schedule to be finalized" by the hockey office. Mmmmm 'kay.

Then again, I guess I shouldn't be too worried about it... They only have, oh, a dozen or so orders to fill anyway.

Maybe they'll just plan to have us all stop by the ticket office right before the first Quinnipiac game to pick them up.

That kills me. They do that to you guys every year, and the season is less than a month a way. We always harp on the Miami ticket office being awful, but at least they make us renew ours in June. Hope your tix arrive sometime in September.

Have they named a location for game two of the Denver series?

Re: Ohio State U. ( 2009-2010 )

I just checked the schedule, no new info on game two with Denver, but added is an exhibition, Oct 4-Western Ontario. Actually, the Western Mustangs. They look to be a little better team than York. If anyone has some free time this weekend, Western is having open tryouts Saturday and Sunday.

Who will be are # 1 goalie this year? Or will we have two goalie battling hard for the spot. I hope we have good back up.

A good team has a good foundation and that starts with the guy in the net.

I see a good battle with Dusty and Heeter. Early i would expect to see both untill one of them takes the reigns. I think Heeter will be the guy hes big moves well but his down fall last year when he played was giving up soft goals(minus the game in denver). Dusty took this team to the Touney last year was a minute from getting them to the joe. He also has a lot of up side to him. He gained the trust of his teammates as the season went on, they knew most of the time if they screwed up he would save there bacon.

EARLY NEWS FLASH.

Asst. Coach Lammers going to Colorado College.

Who will take his place ?

PS. When this news hits the press, I will post the link.

If anyone finds the article before me , please post it. Thanks.

Since it's less than a month until practice I can't see a replacement other than JB Bittner. Maybe if they had more time to search they might come up with someone, but they could look for a long time and not find a better candidate than JB.

Totally agree with your statement on JB. He will do a great job if hired but i dont see anyway they can fill it with a better person in such a short time.

Lammers' name is off the webpage. No official announcement yet from the athletic department that I can find. A posting for the Assistant Coach position has appeared at OSU's jobs website.

Bittner would be a fine choice for the job.

I can't remember if it's been said yet, but it is official, students will get in free for hockey every game. They'll be seated around the band in sections 117 and 111 and if those fill up, they'll be put in the 300 level.

It's definitely a step in the right direction... now they just need to start advertising it!!

Now they need to do 2 more things. Advertise it and run a bus from campus to the Schott. Nobody wants to make that walk when it's below zero especially if they did it earlier that day for a basketball game.

Great news, they needed to do this from the start! Now the students have their seats, and I don't! when are the season ticket apps going out?!?!?!?!?

Any word on Lammers replacement? I think the team starts practice tomorrow. And the student tickets are a great idea. Looks like hockey is taking a step in the right direction.
