If anyone making the trip from Columbus is looking for a pair of tickets, let me know. I've got to make a non-hockey related trip, so I won't be able to make it to either game this weekend.

Not only will my daughter be in attendance with me like usual, but I have 5 more added to my party Saturday and 1 on Sunday. The glass behind Muzzy's gonna be a-rockin! Interestingly I noticed on the "broadcasts" from OSU that there are signs that say you can't touch the glass there. Watts a bunch of weenies. If you ever watch games at PSU they just go wild on the glass there.

The latter is true. But "window ledge tickets" is an extremely cool tradition.

I really don't see myself pulling this off. But I'm starting to feel tempted by the Sunday game! Greatly appreciate knowing where to start my search should I succumb to temptation.

Also, that's an extremely nice offer posted by Nowheresville. Since my best case scenario is one seat, for Sunday only, I'll leave the offer open for a more worthy recipient.

You ever see one of those videos where the glass comes loose and falls on the people banging on it? Better entertainment than the game itself. If you have to leave this planet anyway, you may as well win a Darwin Award in the process.

I have never seen it happen in person or on a video. I have zero concerns about it. It isn't like we do what the PSU students do.

Penalty box attendant in Boston during the nhl playoffs had some glass broken on him
by fans last year. not good.

the little kids that bang on the glass briefly after goals at OSU ice rink? seems harmless.

Face-Off Times: Saturday at 4:00PM Eastern & Sunday at 3:00PM Eastern.

Saturday's game is a head-to-head conflict with the OSU Men's Outdoor Game vs. Michigan. (In Cleveland) That game will be on TV on The Big Ten Network.

Replays will be available on BTN+.

Thanks, I see this was addressed on the Wisco page too. I was hoping it would be on tv but didn’t realize the outdoor game conflict. BTN+ will work too.

Great news that a rink is back on the board of trustees agenda.
 
I don't have cable anymore and have to stream BTN & BTN+ so I guess I'll have the wife cast one game to the TV with her phone and I'll watch the other on my phone at the same time.

OSU back to #1 in the worthless USA Today coaches poll taking 16 of 18 first place votes. That's a sweep in all polls & ranking this week for #1
 
Word on Twitter is the vote has passed approving funds to move ahead with designing and planning for construction of a new rink.

Wow, that's pretty cool. Once Muzzy gets a good barn there's nothing that other teams can throw at recruits against OSU. We will be powerless to stop her!

Teams will have to switch to saying, "That massive, 2500-seat arena is like a morgue. No way near as electric as their old dum-, I mean, place."
 
St. Thomas helped us out by taking the Gophers into overtime earlier tonight. Since Minnesota only got two points tonight, we will just need three this weekend to win the WCHA Regular Season Title outright.

It's going to be worse. Now the story is it's going to be a 5000 seat arena shared by both men & women's teams.
It's going to be too big for the women and too small for the men! It's been approved to go to the planning stage so we shall see what they come up with but I'm not optimistic it will be ideal for both teams as far as fan attendance.
