Thank you. I'm still trying to figure the best way to see the game. It doesn't show on btn.com's list of upcoming games, is that because it is still too early? And is the video accessible via their Ipad/iPhone app, or just via the btn.com website?

You have two choices for internet video. Buckeye Vision or the better one with BTN. I get the BTN monthly package for the home games. I take my lap-top computer and HDMI cable the video feed to my big tv. It's AWESOME.

I have a real issue with the video quality on America One's broadcasts that OSU's away games have been on but what choice do you have when it's the only show in town?

Wow! Great news for Ohio State this weekend. Notre Dame just beat Western so that means every team in the conference this weekend split as long as you count Michigan's shootout win Friday. How often do you see that? It will sure help us in the long run in catching up in the points!

I was thinking the same thing. Nice weekend for the team and they didnt even play a game. Now Alaska coming to town this weekend and you know what they want to do. The question is can the Bucks be patient enough and not try to do to much against that trap and let things come to them.

Has any goalie emerged as the possible starter yet for your club?

I would say no at this point. Each guy has played well in games and not so well in others. The next couple of weeks i think will be a time for each to make his mark and win the job.

There could be the possibility that Oz will do what Miami did and continuously rotate goalies.

I like Brady Hjelle the best so far. I think it's good to have a starting goalie & keep the fire going with a backup now & then so the starter don't get burned out.

Oz at his presser today said Krogh and Gedig needed the week off and are recovering nicely. Did not flat out say they would play.

Excited for the home opening weekend as hockey returns to Columbus. All NHL fans welcome.

Re: Ohio State 2013/2014 - Third year in Oz

Has OSU tried to target CBJ fans with any kind of marketing campaign?
The problem as I see it is very few of the CBJ fans were hockey fans to begin with, they jumped on the bandwagon because Columbus had an honest to gosh professional team. I think most are still stuck in the pro sport mindset and don't know or care what they're missing with college hockey (plus how much cheaper). We have in the past had some extra attendance on weekends when the Jackets were on the road but not a lot so despite all the hype I just don't see Columbus as a true hockey town.

Some thoughts from tonight. Positives – Props to Brady for stealing us a couple points. Lone goal came on a five on three however I still expect to see Olson tomorrow. Second probably the best opening game crowd I've seen a long time. Negatives the power play was really really bad. Sloppy passing and nobody seems to know what to do with the puck. Let's hope it improves. I was also concerned with bringing the puck out of our defensive zone very very sloppy passing and poor turnovers. But again we found a way to get two points hopefully we can get 3 sat.

Re: Ohio State 2013/2014 - Third year in Oz

The Buckeyes played right into alaska's hands all night long. They were way to impatient with they puck coming out of their own zone. Alaska took away that strectch pass after the first 10 minutes and the buckeyes kept trying it and it wasnt going to work. On the PP they never got there own shooting lane now give alaska some credit for moving the box well and getting infront of alot of shots but the buckeyes will not score until they get more movement with the puck and players also have to move. Brady played very well all night long and as mentioned below stole some points tonight. Look for a more patient team tomorrow after seeing the film but if they are not patient then it could be a long night. Nice crowd i was very happy to see a decent crowd this early in the season.
