This new notification that "so and so has visited your Springfield" is annoying. I have Notifications turned off, yet these get through.

Definitely not new though. I've been getting these for months.

I disabled them in Android. Settings -> Apps -> All -> Tapped Out -> Uncheck "show notifications"

Haven't seen one ever, including the visitor ones.

Simpsons just updated for me. A new friend level (3000) has been added. Also a new Homer quest, and a new premium item.

I have push notifications off, still get that visited message. Only started with most recent updates.

ETA: New friend reward is Capital City Goofball. Must be a baseball reference.

Yeah, the episode where Homer went to the baseball game and made an *** of himself and became the mascot.

Started playing Family Guy The Quest for Stuff. Seems like Facebook is only choice for adding friends. I haz a sad.

Re: Official Video Games Thread VII: The 7th Generation Comes To A Close

Now Homer is being visited by the ghost of Maude to show him the ways of his eating. Great.

If you need another friend to add to your friend points: LadySash

Added you.

I found out that you can go to your neighbors' Krustyland areas to collect tickets and FPs.

If you click directly on their Krustyland and not their town from the friends list map, you'll go right to Krustyland.

Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff is pretty decent. The character lines and everything are very well-written.

Seems a little shallow, though - hopefully it gets the level of add-on support Tapped Out is getting.

Progress seems blocked by golden clams tho. So im a bit weary.

Haven't gotten very far - played a little last night and unlocked Jerome/The Drunken Clam.

in order to unlock mort there is a task requiring jewels. The store costs 50 clams to buy with rare chance for the jewels to drop or you can skip it and unlock him for 25 clams.

And it just gave me a mission to link my Facebook. HAHAHAHAHAHA no.

Re: Official Video Games Thread VII: The 7th Generation Comes To A Close

Almost have Mort unlocked.

Didn't need to buy Family Jewels either. You can also get the jewels, etc. through character tasks. Click the character, then click the item you need and it will show you all the tasks that have a chance of dropping that item.

Bought Kearny with some spare donuts and just started building the Popsicle stick skyscraper.

My popsicle stick tower will be complete in about 5 hours. Kearny's fun. I get a kick out of a bully at school who can still drink at Moe's.
