Do they? THeir NBA game blows. Madden is a festering pile of ****. FIFA and NHL are good but getting stale. Fast. Baseball, if they even have a game, plays third fiddle to The Show and 2k.

Madden wasn't that bad and really in sports games you can only do sooooo much :)

Madden dumped franchise mode this year. 'nuff said. Name one truly innovative feature or upgrade they've introduced since they got the exclusive contract.

Good thing I did not buy Madden this year.... Since that is the only thing I ever play. Why did they do that?

Picked up the new Tomb Raider last week. I like the grittier, younger, Lara Croft much better than the over-bewbed older version we have had in the past.

Feels a lot like Uncharted series (which in turn may have copied other tomb raiders) in that you are a scientist/treasure hunter/etc. Collecting relics, documents, etc. as an aside to the story. A bit more quick time sequences than I like, but not totally overwhelming.

Still feels good to kill bad guys, there is a cover system, and the enemies don't just stand around waiting to be shot (for the most part). There is also a stealth kill and finisher system. Reasonable selection of weapons, and an upgrade system for both the character and her equipment.

Some of the set pieces are pretty dramatic feeling. For example (spoiler), early on in the game you get your foot caught in a bear trap. it's night time with a big storm (rain, lightning, wind). So while you are stuck wolves will jump out of the wild randomly and you have to kill them with your bow/arrow.

Is it bad of me that, despite the problems, I wanna buy SimCity?

Does anyone know if Origin still doesn't like Windows 8? I remember them not getting along last year, but can't find anything through Googling.

Picked up Epic Mickey 2 for Wii at BestBuy.com for $10the and free shipping.

Haven't played Epic Mickey, but couldn't pass up that deal.

Haven't had time to play Wii in months, hoping to find time to try this one.

I'm glad they replaced the annoying rabbit from part 1. I'm sure Claptrap is the new annoying character now. :D

Borderlands 2 gets a level cap increase today, to 61. Also a 6th character is still coming.

The PSN $10 for $50 deal ended yesterday. I think I will be getting just the $10 back. I know some people getting as much as $40 back.

I think the last cast was better, but GLaDOS as dealer seals it for me.

The PS4 is rumored to have the same requirement of having an internet connection. I'm not interested in either.

I really do hate the "we will give you what we want and you will like it" attitude amongst the manufacturers. But I'm not required to give them my money.

If they require me to register games and have an internet connection at all times, I'm going to pass on this generation. I have zero interest in supporting an industry trying to fix a problem that simply doesn't exist by destroying my enjoyment of the system.
