Mauer is the cover 2 years in a row, or is that just being used because they haven't decided on the next cover athlete?

I usually don't buy year-to-year games, rather, I skip a year or two. This may be an exception to my rule. The way he describes that game it seems to be an amazing improvement.

They say that he's doing the cover again. The post is from an SCEA employee.

Edit: I also got really excited when they had the different announcers thinking, oh man, this would be amazing. But then my stupid hat fell off and realized the leviathan of cost this would create. I liked the announcers from last year so I'm happy they're returning, especially Campbell.

First hand of the round. I call the blinds with 46 suited. Flop comes 668. Make moderate bet. Max raises. I re-raise. Max goes all in. I call. Max flips over TT.

Turn is a T.

Suddenly Phil Hellmuth doesn't seem like so much of a *********.

You new PS3 owners should check out PAIN. The base game is $9.99 and then everything else (more levels, characters) are add-on. I guess that could be a pro or con depending how you look at it.

The levels are $3-6 and all the characters seems to be $1. The pro part being you can buy only the stuff you want and not get the others. I think if you bought everything (incl. base game) it would be around $40. So a lot like a disc based game.

The object is to shoot characters out of a launcher and cause damage/mayhem in each of the levels. :D

GT5 Patch (v1.05) is out. 608mb.

Apparently it adds a lot of good things though.

- Online Car marketplace
- 24h Nurburgring track added
- Seasonal Events
- Copy saves to USB
- Some car/cash prizes have changed (indy 117k now)
- HUD completely removed option
- Mech damage available in arcade mode
- Rewind on replays
- Race again option

Probably more, just taking what I see from different threads.

Those were two of my absolute biggest gripes. I am very happy they fixed those.

Edit: It also appears that the increase in prize money is only until the end of January 2011.

Yeah I read the notes after downloading it. No big deal, now is when I have the most time to play anyways.

Finally grinded enough levels to do the 2 driver races under extreme (lvl 22). Pays to have more than 1 of them leveled up!
