Is the HDD USB 2.0 compatible? Also was it FAT32 format? Were you looking in the Media menu under portable devices to try and see it?

Also, I don't believe you can save to it, only read from it.

Yes, yes, yes. I'm not attempting to save to it, I just want to stream movies or tv shows from my hard drive to my tv through my Xbox. I have a MacBook so I'm thinking it may be a reformatting problem, but so far all my troubleshooting has gone for naught.

Logged in to PSN this morning. My billing info was a card I no longer have, so that was good news. Deleted it anyways.

Call of Duty: MW3 to release on 11.08.11

Not a surprise that the cash cow will have another release.

I've always liked Infinity Ward's games, and have been underwhelmed with Treyarch's. But IW isn't developing this alone, so who knows how it will turn out. I loved COD4 and MW2, so here's hoping the trend continues.

I can't imagine this game will be a bust, there is far too much interest in this series worldwide for them to **** it up. I've felt each one has gotten better and better, honestly, but I'm also pretty easy to please.

Can not wait. Black Ops (Treyarch) was a little different from IW's MW2, which was the first shooting game I played. I just PRAY that MW3 has an Abbottabad Pakistan map/level.

The other developer is just a splinter group of IW, or something like that.

L.A. Noire so far is pretty enthralling to play. Hard to put down. So I would say that's a positive.

Some car chases, gun fights, fist fights, and a lot of looking for clues and interrogating suspects. Plus a good 1940's vibe. I think you can even turn the game to all black and white if you want.

Re: Official Video Games Thread VI: Somebody set us up the bomb

Reading some of the forums on The Witcher 2, it looks like they have taken the 'M' rating much farther this time. The first one had some digital cards with scantily clad and/or topless women to go along with language, adult themes, etc.

This one seems to have taken another step and basically put in a digital version of softcore porn for some scenes.

I find this an interesting change, since the first one couldn't even release the questionable card content in their North American version. Although it was easily patched later.

Hypocrisy about game content? Say it isn't so!

I'm sure there's going to be some great public outcry when the braying farm animals that make up most of this country realize that a video game has nudity or GASP sex in it. Most likely after they buy it for an 8 year old.

If you've never seen the Fox News segment on the first Mass Effect game, by all means google it or do a youtube search. It's freaking hilarious.
