Got NHL 11 the other day, and I gotta say I'm loving it. Pretty similar overall to NHL 10, but with some extra little things that really make it better in my opinion, like broken/dropped sticks, tapping your stick on the ice for a pass, new faceoff system, and I just had a goal waved off initially, only to be allowed after review :D

Anyone who was really looking forward to next April is now royally disappointed. Xbox announced Gears of War 3 is being delayed until Fall 2011. The reason? $$$. Their words. Strictly a business decision. They wanted to have a big title available for the holiday season. After all the hype over the summer from the initial announcement at E3 and on, to now announce it will be delayed seven months just so they can sell it for the holiday really blows. It also makes me wonder what they even have lined up next year if they have to delay a market ready game seven months. No other big titles coming out?

NHL 11 is making me angry with it's cheapness and my inability to score freaking goals. I'm sure it's because I suck, but it's still a load of sh^t.

Those were just other releases, not ones i want to buy. I would be broke buying 17 games in under 3 months. :eek: That's over $1000.

Goldeneye is Wii only which is dumb.

So I started playing Minecraft. It's amazing and sooo much fun.

And FIFA 11 still has me hooked.

I got fired in FIFA 11 after 3 seasons with Man City. Finished 4th, 2nd, and 6th, while winning the Champs League in my 3rd season. But the board wanted a first place league finish in that 3rd season, and I couldn't deliver. Now I'm stuck at Birmingham.
Crap.

I don't exactly trust that release date but this expansion looks very nice and makes me want to play retail after... 4 years now since I canceled my account.

A bit of a funny bug that was happening on the EU test servers.

X-Play did a full show on Fallout: New Vegas today. Looks brilliant. I can hardly wait for next Tuesday.

More melee VATS options and the reintroduction of traits are just some of the highlighted changes.

Well, I am not very good at FIFA.

I think most of it has to do with the fact that I play way too much offense. I'll outshoot the other team by four or five, but I press so much that if the ball gets blocked or cleared the other team usually has a 2on1 on most of their shots.

I also never realized everyone who plays FIFA is from the Netherlands but is also a fan of Chelsea and ManU.

I got so sick of everyone picking Man U/Chelsea/Barcelona/Real Madrid/Milan when I picked a team like Palermo, Portsmouth, Nott. Forest, or Sampdoria.

I said screw it, and just play with a better team now. If someone picks a 3 or 3 1/2 star team, I join them, but it never happens.
