Yeah, I'm trying to download it via torrents, so I get what I deserve I suppose. I sometimes can get it to work the first time, but the 2nd time I try to play it I get error messages.

I'll just wait for 2011 to come out I think.

That's at Christmas time. Maybe you can get it for free from a relative!

Did it come with any cracks or patches? Or instructions? Almost all of them will.

When you're burning the image to the disc, make sure to use a program like PowerIso, or mount the image using something like Daemon Tools. Both are free and fairly simple to use. And, definitely check for cracks / patches.

NHL2k11 was released for the iPhone/iPod Touch today.

I tried the lite version (2.99 for the non-commercial fully loaded version), and it's got glitches and such that I saw with the Wii version for 2k9. Overall, it's a time waster for the iPod, and I'm thinking it can't be too bad for 2.99 (there are worse things to buy from the app store).



Looking forward to trying/buying EA's NHL Slapshot for Wii, and I may or may not pick up 2k11.

Anyone else having problems with XBL?

Haven't been able to "redeem codes" for a few days and now today I can't download add-ons (was trying for the free Game Pak 009). I just get error windows.

Also Scott Pilgrim vs The World is now available on XBL.

You know PS3 has a premium online section now as well. We are only 1 step away from them making all content premium like the 360 did.

So it might be a short lived jump.

Oh and if you buy a year of XBL for the current price you wouldn't need to pay the new price until 2012. Thanks for the heads up on that.

Not to mention you can stock up on the Cards now. I purchased 3 cards on EBay last year for $30 each. I'm good for a while.

I doubt it, Sony's always been on the "online gaming should be free" bandwagon. PS+ is just similar to any other subscription thing they've offered like Pulse or PS Underground.

It's probably more about keeping their customer base happy in general. They know price raises aren't popular. But in a year when your subscription auto-renews you will probably have forgotten about the increase.

I doubt GT5 has anything to do with it at all.

Newegg has the cards at $39.99 regularly anyways, so it'll probably reflect the price increase but be the current price anyways.

I wish GTA: Vice City was on XBL or PSN. I don't really want to get it for PC. But that was probably my favorite GTA game of all time.

Football Manager 2010 is $9.99 right now on Steam. Not sure how long this deal will last. But that is a crazy low price. Still a couple months till 2011 comes out.
