Nothing there is confirmed. Scuttlebutt is that the NHL series could be wiped out because they don't have anything huge invested in it whereas they've got more to do with NBA and MLB now. EA getting involved in a Wii hockey game makes life that much harder for 2K to keep up there. Even though they make a relatively crappy MLB game, they can at least cram it on a bunch of platforms and their NBA game is better than EAs. Business-wise it makes sense, competition-wise it blows.

By the way, the NHL 11 demo is pretty sweet. The Ultimate Team thing could be a lot of fun to play although I hope it doesn't take control of their attention at the sacrifice of stuff for the Be A GM mode.

Yikes. Yeah, not going to do that. I contacted someone at EA today about it, we'll see what happens. My EA account is fine as is my XBL account. I have one more trick to try before I start sending out nasty e-mails.

I really like 2K's MLB game for the Wii. I will say that I don't own any of the other platforms to compare it to, but it is my favorite pure sports game for the Wii (followed by FIFA).

Uncharted 2 + Metal Gear Solid 4 + LittleBigPlanet = Go get a PS3 right now. Those three are well well worth the price

Agreed, that could have a lot of playtime with it. This article makes it sound like it will be pretty friggin awesome, actually. I'm really looking forward to sept. 7th now.

So I figured out a way to fix the EA server thing. I had to disconnect the XBox from the Internet, change the date and time to a date and time it wasn't (eg: 11/11/11 11:11 PM) so when I reconnected it to the Internet, it reset everything back to normal on its own thus resetting all the connections. When I started up a game, I was able to log on to the EA servers just fine. What a weird workaround.

Scott Pilgrim vs the World is a pretty fun beat-em-up if you have a PS3. Has nothing to do with the movie and is based on the comics.

I need some computer help.

So, I've heard good things about Football Manager, great things really, but I've never played more than a demo.

I've tried to download it via Vuze a few times. I can usually burn the image to the disc okay, but after that it never seems to work. Has anyone ever done it this way?

I've never tried to burn a copy from the net or from a disc. So not sure if it has some kind of lock on it. You would think there would be instructions on how to use the images.

I have a copy of 2008 you could use if it were simple to get it to you. Unless you are trying to get the 2010 version.

Yeah, I'm trying to download it via torrents, so I get what I deserve I suppose. I sometimes can get it to work the first time, but the 2nd time I try to play it I get error messages.

I'll just wait for 2011 to come out I think.
