That would be a huge deal.

Also, did this affair deal really have an affect on THAT many people? I'd venture a guess that 65-70% of all game purchases are made by guys. I just don't see that many guys being swayed to NOT purchase the game for the scandal unless this game was A) Poorly marketed B) It blows

Maybe I'm wrong. I just don't get it.

I am not familiar with golf games, but for Madden, etc, unless there was a major new feature or something (or some bigtime superstar/rookie breakout), I always thought sales fell.

Usually I would buy a new Madden/NHL game once every 4-5 years, and the rest of the time, I'd just wait a year until the new version came out, and then buy the old version for a much much cheaper price because of this.

For anybody looking to pick up Batman: Arkham Asylum, it's available in store at GameStop for $19.99 (for PS3 and 360). Still 39.99 online.

There may have been a mistake in the article I originally linked; I saw another one that said sales were 68% of last year's (e.g., down 32%), not down 68% from last year.

It is certainly worth 20$. It helps to have knowledge of Batman comics but there are a profiles included for dozens of characters and more detailed stuff for all the villians in the game.

That said, the Killer Croc fight is the lamest part of the game. Then again compared to the Scarecrow sections and Poison Ivy, the rest had a high bar to live up to.

The final fight is the worst one. The one you whited out is pretty friggin' dumb too.

So Starcraft II comes out next week.

Still torn on whether to get it or not. I'm leaning towards no just because I don't like paying for just one single player campaign (albeit a really long one), but Blizzard has yet to let me down (though that's certain to be tested after being bought out by Activision). Lots of other negatives on the periphery (no chatrooms on battle.net, RealID, internet req. for single player, etc.), but it is a new starcraft. And the gameplay itself in the beta was pretty fun, honestly, even as limited as it was.

Decisions, decisions.

I really wish they would have updated the combat system to require more strategy and less unit spam.

Well if you're worried about the internet connection for SP there will probably be a way around that before the game even comes out. Right now there's a tool that still allows you to play the beta.

Btw the full version of SC2 can already be downloaded you just can't install it yet.
