And Tim Goghlin is not the kind of guy that would let a team intentionally break his star goalies leg without saying something about it.
It's Tom Coughlin.

I have held back commenting (have shared some commentary among our SNC fan group) about last weekend's series with Adrian. I went in hoping for at least a split, but it was not to be. The Bulldogs came out skating hard and took advantage of several early SNC defensive turnovers to build an early lead in game 1. SNC did not mount much of a comeback even with several PP opportunities. I walked into the rink on Saturday and learned that Kujava was in net and Jake was not available. Later learned that he broke his fibula in the pre game off ice warm up. Again the Bulldogs pounce on the Knights with two early goals. Playing better offensively, SNC would close the margin on four different occasions to a single goal but would give it right back shortly there after.Let's back up and use our heads for a moment here. If we had tried to break a goaltender's leg, all holy hell would have broken loose on about three threads that were going this weekend about that series. Instead....crickets.
Last thing on this for the moment: "Dirty", to me, implies intent to injure. I have not seen a team try to do that since Minnesota-Crookston, 6-7 years ago or so.
Are we dirty? No. Are we chippy? Yeah. Am I going to apologize for it? Not on your best day, and not on my worst.
How about those lakers!!!!
Chippy is different to evreyone, that said to me its the crosscheck IFO the net after the whistle, fine with me if you are protecting your house, its the slap on the calf IFO the net, again fine with me if you get away with it and its not to injury the player, more of sending a message enter at your own risk.I hate the diving,I think it was Genny who was good at that, not to mention the old goal post off.Hits from behind are not chippy, they are dangerous.Chippy isnt bad if players dont get hurt, and it doesnt hurt your team

ok everyone is back in their respective corners,no harm done..........something tells me we may see these teams lock horns in the near future if all goes right for both teams.
Agreed....We've all got a long way to go before we can worry about that.
I am not part of the inner sanctum....I do know there has been a steady stream of prospects...the "tour" always includes the WTOP control room...that much I hear from the kids...we can pin him down when you are up there....come on Lou who is Eddie bringing in for Whiteout weekend to see the campus center rock??Looks like we are losing 6 guys to graduation 3 forwards and 3 dmen, and who knows what else.
