Toto is complex, like a fine red wine...you can't know what you are in for based on a sip or a single glass - it may take a bottle or two before you can fully appreciate what you have...:confused:

You're insane. Yeah, both teams have 2 losses. Genny's 2 losses have been to the #2 and 4 teams in the country. Oswego's 2 losses have come to Fredonia (who has already lost to Cortland, Elmira and Canton) and Genny. They deserve to be ranked higher.

Just a comment on this past weekend. With the issue of strength of schedule the Morrisville win over UC and Plattsburgh winning the Primelink was very good for SUNAC.

Sunyac is having a very good year against the ECAC West.

ECAC East and NESCAC off to pretty good starts.

Ok needless to say this is a big weekend coming up,the first point is pretty obvious,who will start vs. Potsdam in net,and who will be in the line-up? Would like to see Carr back he has some experience,not sure what is going on there??Will Titanic net his first goal this weekend? Will the Powerplay improve,if not we are in trouble and who will start in net vs Platty:eek:...i am pretty sure we will see Cadeux :p

No I don't think Oswego deserves to be ranked higher than Geneseo right now. What I'm saying is that it stings to see them higher. It stings because I've never seen Geneseo ranked higher than Oswego before. In fact I've never seen any SUNYAC team besides Plattsburgh ranked above Oswego before. So it stings. It's a reflection of reality. But it stings.

And apparently as punishment for not playing any games this last weekend, the "other site" dropped Oswego off the top 15 list completely. Sigh... It makes me sad.

Getting closer and closer to the big game, there's certainly no better way to end the semester than with Plattsburgh. Certainly not to overlook Potsdam, because this new team (and really no team- see Utica/Morrisville last week) does not have the luxury of doing that. But here's a little pregame reading from my blog that I put together last night to get excited for Saturday night.

YES cannot take postdam to lightly,we have very little experience and will have to fight for every pt this season,friday nights game will be a good test and hopefully oz will pass and move onto sat vs.Platty with some momentum.As for the goalie situation I had a funny feeling at the beginning of the season we would have something like this going on,I dont think its good for the team ,but what do I know,others think it is good,competition?? Platty has yet to let anybody besides Chewy btwn the pipes.bring on Da Bears

A goalie battle is only bad for a team if the goalies turn it into a controversy and players start taking sides. Competition is what drives players to get better and their is a competition for the 18 skater spots every night, why not between the pipes? The team has to adjust to the different style each time a change is made but if you want to be a championship caliber team you need to be able to adapt to different situations. Zawadski seems to give the boys a little more confidence at the moment and while Gilby has made some really big saves his terrible rebound control makes me uneasy when he is in there. Right now they need to scrape out points to set themselves up for a good playoff run when/if it all starts to come together and the goalie is the guy that can make that happen. Until they find on that can consistently give them a chance to win they will keep switching back and forth.

Yes Plattsburgh has used Cadieux exclusively but when the guy is 8-0-1 with a 1.10 and .951 and 2 shutouts it's not hard to see why.
