As the initiator of this thread, let me first say that I too really do dig their posts immensely, most of the time!
(Except when Brookyone gets all feisty on me for my anti-Obanunism, Pro Tea Party, Love you Sarah sentiments!)
In another thread, these two had taken to long winded diatribes which for me personally, became too lenghty and tiresome to read, let alone enjoy! Just my humble opinion! I like coming here for a quick fact check, a funny quip, or a brief comment on current events. Again, my humble opinion but I don't think magazine style articles, or Op-Ed style columns written by rank amateurs (present company, included, absolutely!) make for good contributions here.
So, as a way of poking gentle fun, I started a new thread for them. Interestingly, the diatribes in the other thread stopped. And so, when Hcky85 and Notfromaroundhere where kicking into high gear again, I did the same goofy thing a second time! Interestingly, those diatribes stopped too.
BTW, I also think Hcky85 and Notfromaroundhere have some great thoughts on things, and despite the fact I tend to lean more heavily toward NFAH's way of thinking, I think there were many occasions when they both could have often benefited from an editor's cut! LOL
But then, who died and made me king of the message board? ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! I'm just entertaining myslf during the off-season like every one else. I guess you could say that starting these threads is an open acknowledgement of my own A.D.D.!
Meanwhile, here I am writing a speech of my own, so I'll stop now!!
