I was at the ticket office today and someone in front of me in line asked about this. The rep said that they hadn't sent them out yet but were going to be sending them sometime this week.

I got mine as well as two others in the group I got tickets with. Mine were sent to my home address in CT even though I told them not to, but nonetheless, they were sent to me last week.

I believe the first official day of practice is Saturday, which is the day of the exhibition game.

And I got my tickets. Was at the arena for a meeting on Tuesday and picked them up. They're smaller this year. Well, for Premium Seat holders. They're really nice though. And the parking passes are teeny, like tickets instead of the passes that you could hang from your rearview mirror.

Just got off the phone with them. They sent mine to my old address, even though I asked them when I should change my address with them to avoid this happening, and they told me to do it on September 1, when I moved, because nothing would be mailed by then. But apparently they sent the info to the printer in the middle of August and the tickets come straight from the printer. Morons.

much like i asked scarlet to do the same for FOH... i'd suggest you get a BHB twitter set up and tweet me when you have new stuff up, so i can clicky right over on the phone while i try to keep from dozing off at work :p

Yup -- whomever I spoke to told me she'd call me back with info on "where my tickets are". *sigh*

Question for the preseason poll:

I'm guessing someone meant to write "14" first place votes for Miami? Otherwise, do I not know how the polls work?

No, it's really 4. They got more total points. Meaning they may received 2nd place votes for every voter who didn't pick them first. Someone can do the math and actually figure it out to a certain degree, but that's an example of how that could occur.

Yes, basically a 1st place vote is worth 15 points, a second place worth 14, etc. down to 1 point for 15th place. So with 34 voters in theory a team could get 476 points without a single first place vote.

The poll results suggest that while not many voters picked Miami number one there were fewer voters that left them out of the top 2-3 than there were for the BU, Denver, and Michigan, who all had more first place votes.

My tickets were mailed from Agganis Arena on 23 September.

I think that's what the first person I talked to back in August thought was going to happen but the person today told me that I was in the first group of tickets to go to the printers, back in the middle of August and they were shipped straight to us from the printer.

Nashville trimmed roster to 25 today...They need to be at 23 by opening night. They're carrying 16 forwards right now, 7 Defensemen and 2 goalies. The 2 remaining cuts will definitely both be forwards, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Preds trimmed the roster to 24 today. Wilson is IR which means he made the team. He had an injury after his first game ( 1st star). I am guessing they were impressed by his performance up until then. The roster is set 24, two on Ir.
