Well we gave up 8 shots and a goal in the first minute. Then Harding was hurt, bringing in an untested netminder. They proceed to dominate, partly because of the double-minor to Almond for high-sticking. Things slowly evened out after that, and even began to tip the other way right at the end of the period. The shots are 23-10 Sharks and the Wild are winning 2-1. It's just weird.

Dumb question: how many were "throw it on the net and hope" variety? The kind you would throw at a new/unproven/who the hell is he netminder?

Those happened increasingly often as the period went on and the played started to even out a bit. The Wild did a very good job of keeping most of the shots coming from the perimeter on the four minute PK.

Pickles could win a Golden Globe for that one.

Thanks. I was enjoying pure silence after a hectic day of work. Turned it on mid-2nd.

Again, the Wild are content to sit back and ride the goalie with a one goal lead. I don't like it.

All they do is win. I can't explain it. I don't care how they do it. But good for them. They win.
