The Campoli "lower body injury" looks pretty bad. He was limping slow there.

Hate to see that first game of the season - no matter which team he plays for.

And I think I called it earlier about Don Cherry being in full rant mode tonight. Didn't know he would also take on former tough guys and Shanahan for causing guys to intentionally miss with their hits. :eek:

I thought Frattin had a pretty solid NHL debut. Showed some speed, had over 15 minutes of ice time, and was fairly smart without the puck. Never figured he'd make it this far, after the booze-related incidents at UND.

Philly looked good. Boston looked...okay. Inconsistent, which is what I expect the first month or so.

Power Play looked awful in the 2nd period, but okay in the 3rd.
Thomas should've had the 2nd goal but otherwise looked solid.
Not nearly enough sustained offensive pressure, a lot of one and done rushes.
Bryz made some big saves when it counted, Boston couldn't put the puck away...
