A must read at from MHT via Redskin Warriors. Win It For…http://t.co/kIrVNVGe

Great read, credit to whoever the original author was.

The more I think about this coming weekend, the more I think that anything less than a Frozen Four trip is a huge letdown (Disclaimer: I am not discounting any team here, every team in this field is fully deserving and capable of winning the whole thing). Even though the game didn't mean a whole lot, hopefully the win over BG can get us back into our groove. If we get out and play our game, this could be a promising post-season.

And yes, that was me being cautiously optimistic.

I agree completely, Fellowes.

For better or worse, the program has reached the point that, despite the lack of a national title, we are supposed to win these games. It's really not even an issue of who we're playing, but the way the program is perceived now, that the season's worth is almost pinned upon a trip to the Frozen Four. This bracket is ripe for the picking, but it remains to be seen. Last year, as the #1 seed (playing in Manchester notwithstanding), we should have advanced to St. Paul. We didn't. Certainly the same thing could happen this year but the seniors are looking for their third FF appearance which would re-write school history and be an amazing accomplishment. That's the thing about the program. We have several guys who have won two regionals. They know what it takes...but will they do it?

This team cannot simply show up and hope all the draft picks, stats and gaudy talent on paper will be enough. They have to earn it. I hope they understand that.

Friday in Detroit should have taught them a very valuable lesson about that. I hope we see the return of the michigan state series. Score early and often. Oh and scalp em.

I love that kid. One of the few bright spots for the Sharks since the calender changed to 2012.

General bulletin to Miami fans: Stop reacting to that "The Ice is Life" post. Obvious troll is obvious.
