If UND lost, the pairwise would have been:
#4 SCSU
#5 BC
#6 UND

The only difference would be UND and SCSU swapping regionals. Everything else would've come out the same.

Yes! I forgot about that. It was hilarious! As anyone who has drank with Shep before knows, he is an awesome source of hilarity. The biggest reason why he is easily the best ref in the league.

I think you made a typo or something, from what you posted here, there is a big difference, SCSU would have been a 1 and BC a 2. Unless I'm just interpretting what you're saying wrong.

What I posted is accurate and is reflective of overall pairwise positioning - i.e. SCSU would be the final #1 seed, BC would be the strongest #2 seed, etc.

I didn't think SCSU would be able to get the #1 with BC winning, but the numbers don't lie. Interesting. So if UND would have lost, they would have been put in Wisconsin's regional and stayed in St. Paul. I think that would have been better for them, but you can't argue with taking home the trophy.

The second statement is more applicable in this case - that and I don't wake up 'til 7 or later at night. In order to attend a game, I'd have to wake up no later than 6 - and earlier than that if I wanted to shower first. It'd be roughly on par with you getting up at 5 a.m. and going to a game at 6 a.m. Needless to say, I didn't have the energy to do that.

btw - was really bummed I did not find the tailgate party on Friday. I was in St. Paul by noon and ended up at McGoverns since I couldn't figure out where the hell you guys were in relation to DQ. :o

Tailgating was definitely enhanced by our proximity to DQ and a trip to buy irish cream. mmmmmm alcoholic blizzards....

I think Party In The USA was playing, and bbdl was singing along, so I decided to make fun of him and dance like a mindless clubber. Obviously, BPH and stateofhockey were horrified.
