Official 2010 WCHA Final Five Thread

Re: Official 2010 WCHA Final Five Thread

3. Successful tailgating (thank you, weather!).

4. Got to see people I usually only see at this time of year.

Good seeing you too!

It was great seeing people I have not seen in awhile and meeting new people. See most of you next year. This time I will bring more than 22 bottles of New Glarus beer at the tailgate party.

Back in the UP. Thanks everyone for a great weekend!

And, no, I will not be making the return trip for the regional. I will, however, send my NMU friends to Gasthof's. That was awesome.

Here are the 2 pics of Brent that he wanted me to post, from Gasthof's Friday night. I also have one of State of Hockey, Shirtless Guy and MNS, drinking beer, of course.

we're working our way through Nebraska right now. It was a great weekend as usual. Thanks to Brent for hosting Quiz and I.

To get a little sappy here...the fans are what makes that event worth bidding my vacation for. I love hanging out with all you all. Meeting new people is cool and seeing the same people I see every year, even if it's only that event is awesome. It's fun to get my friends hooked up with stuff like toss your cookies (Rusty is a liar, there's no cookies in there), the Red Baron pizza coupons (the pizza boxes are empty), and zam rides (you're welcome, Diva).

As always, some things to improve on for next year, but overall, this was a good Final Five. :)

The Sioux won, what more could you ask for? :D

Re: Official 2010 WCHA Final Five Thread

To play in St Paul this coming weekend?

I THINK because the Sioux won, they were sent out. If they lost, I think they woulda been here. Two-edged sword, how ya doing?

I think they would have had to fall to a number 3 to go to St. Paul, which wasn't going to happen. So I'm pretty good with the Broadmoor trophy. :)

Ok. Bracketology hurts my head (attempting to do so on the fly, like others can), so I let others do the work for me. :)

Oh, a side note: my knowledge of ECAC/eastern hockey went up threefold at minimum during this weekend, thanks to GLM and his buddy from here. Lots of comparisons/etc of fanbases/atmosphere/arenas/teams/etc.

If they could have gotten paired in Sconni's bracket...they'd be in St. Paul. I don't care anyway, we'll be there next year anyway. :)
