Official 2010 WCHA Final Five Thread

Re: Official 2010 WCHA Final Five Thread

My hangover remedy for me: Taco Bell the next day. Works every time.

I prefer to start drinking at about 11am. During the Final Five at least with my group it's a race to the bar in the morning to kill the hangover. A couple of Captain Cokes usually do nicely.

I only do this during the final five for the record.

Brent, any plans for tomorrow night yet? You want me to just come over to your place after work, and we'll go from there?

Sweet. I'll probably plan on parking there. Let me know if you find out anything different.

That works. Keep in touch. Dirty's ETA is about 4ish.

Well, I'll be leaving work at 5, probably can't leave earlier than that, I'll already by pushing it since I have to go to the dentist in the morning for a bit. I'll plan on heading down your way ASAP after work.

Don't think I'll be along for Matt's/other goings on tomorrow night, I have a buddy that is having a big ol' St. Patrick's Day party that has been in the works for weeks.

That's right. I invited myself to your get-together, then turned down the invitation.

So, who wants to help me on Saturday protest the fact my state's governor is an idiot? She declared Saturday as a "no meat" day in Michigan, and thus, I'm going carnivore.

Shouldn't matter since you're not going to be there anyway. But I like your thinking.

I, on the other hand, may just have to talk HN into going out for slab o'meat - as rare as I can stand it. Gaucho's (it's like Fogo) would be awesome, but I don't think we can swing that for dinner.

I can help you protest with my tube steak.

If I were in Michigan, I would invite everyone over and grill about 50 lbs of meat. Declaring a no meat day makes me furious, how dare she do something like that.

Re: Official 2010 WCHA Final Five Thread

Let me know where you guys start tonight. If it's a pure 'bar scene' place I probably can't attend, but if it's a sit down spot where you can grab some grub I might be able to join at least the early evening festivities.

Anyone want to watch some bouncyball Thursday morning/afternoon?

I was thinking could do that at my place, or hit a bar somewhere between there and the Xcel.

I realize not everyone likes that sport, so feel free to say no. :p

I actually wouldn't mind watching Tubby's team, even though I hate basketball, but I'll be working all day Thursday. I don't have enough vacation to afford to take more than 1 day off for the Final 5.
