Behind the bench
Re: Official 2010-2011 Miami season Thread: 3rd times a charm???
Just a bruised shoulder, saw him at the rink getting some treatment, nothing broken which is good. Nasty hit he took, but clean.
Not sure where you guys are looking but Miami is tied for 4th in the PWR with michigan. Really glad we didn't get the "easy" road as the two wins against fairbanks were really big for our ranking as predicted. Outcomes today could certainly have an impact, not a huge one but a slight one depending how the dominos fall. But if Miami plays Michigan for the CCHA title it will be for a #1 seed in St. Louis.
Anyone know about what happened to Tomassoni's shoulder. Looked like his arm was sagging when he was heading to the bench and was probably dislocated. Hoping for the best he is a beat on the penalty kill.
Hopefully we can finish off the Nanooks tomorrow night and move on to Detroit.

Where are you guys getting your pairwise numbers? i keep getting lower placings from Collegehockeynews.com. They have us @ 6 after tonight.
Also, does Miami put themselves at a disadvantage in the PWR in playing fewer games in the regular season? It seems to hurt the RPI by having up to 3 fewer games than Ndak. Then again, if you win 78% of your games (yale and BC), i'm not sure that it matters a great deal.
since we're catching up on alums, does anyone get down to watch KR on the cyclones?
Miami was tied for 4th in pairwise while the Denver game was still in progress, after Denver won they regained their pairing against us so we dropped back down to 6th.
