I must be missing something.

We're using inflammatory statements as evidence for an argument about the relative extent of misogyny among certain groups? Are inflammatory narratives the only (or even primary) way of being a misogynist? Has the world gone postmodern?

(In the spirit of mea culpas I'd like to personally apologize for Cornell's part in unleashing PoMo on the world. With the exception of the Yale English department, it is probably more our fault than anybody else's. Even Harvard's. And it hurts to say that.

At least, with the exception of a handful of aged professors circle jerking to Foucault, it's dead Jim.)

Yeah, that was probably a dumb thing to say. I got my blood pressure up way too high for a Friday. I should have said, "There have also been times when a liberal has said something offensive".

Good on you. And I certainly agree with the latter statement. Olbermann says at least 20 stupid things every night.

I am willing to bet that Ann Coulter and Keith Olbermann meet up once a month for a nice long hate ****ing! Sorry but it is all BS, she doesnt believe word one of what she says and neither does he. They are just trying to squeeze money from the idiots...and it is working brilliantly :D

About an hour and half from Rockland. It was ignorant but the platform that came out of there wasn't. Too bad they wasted time on one man, one women crap, but term limits and the end of Dept of Education were 2 very positive things

That's gross, too. They are, famously, friends, which has always made me suspect Coulter is just faking the whole thing to drain money out of the cesspools of the right. It may all just be an Ithaca thing.

Well of all of them, Maher has an excuse -- he's an overt professional comedian.

But he's friends with Arianna Huffington, too, and I can't imagine anybody more tedious than that withered cross between Ayn Rand and Zsa Zsa. He may just be a celebrity whore.
