Re: Obama XI: Turn And Face The Strange

:D What an incoherent screed. Stop projecting your fantasies onto me, man up, and admit you're in a full out spin cycle now to try to recover any false dignity you might have after getting owned on your so called calculations regarding retirement. Its stupid people like you who keep getting taken advantage of with faulty investments and too big mortgages. If there were less of you recovering brain donors around, this financial crisis wouldn't have been half as bad.

PS - Do you even have a job?

I have a job.....one in which I most likely paid more taxes from last year than you grossed. If I had to guess, you're a union worker and/or someone who gets paid on the public dole. Just a guess, from the rambling blather that you spew daily.

But aside from that, I live in a modest house and have my investments well-diversified. Thanks for being concerned. You should be more concerned about your status as a Level III offender of complete idiocy.

That, and concerned about possibly getting a clue in this lifetime. Because as it was once said: "Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life."

When did you shift from Rover to Priceless?

Look, I'm glad you can hold down employment scrubbing toilets for a living. However, that doesn't diminish my ability to buy and sell you. :D I'm sure your investments are quite well diversified...in pennies, nickles and quarters. Now run along and have Red Cloud "console" you. Or if he's otherwise occupied, explain to us again how IRA's are risk free investments.

Re: Obama XI: Turn And Face The Strange

Gee, you two sound like two 5 year olds arguing over whose daddy could beat the other up only now you are comparing (supposed) paychecks. Well just like the "stud" who talks up his prowess because he is hung like a pimple my guess is you both are overinflating the size of your portfolio. ;)

But hey, it is a step above Red Cloud's incessant need to insult Priceless' weight :p

Re: Obama XI: Turn And Face The Strange

Peace is at hand.

Outrage merchants on both sides will no doubt pillory it.

Comrade Bernie may go down in history as introducing the best thing in the bill:

Democrats expect to vote Thursday on an amendment by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) requiring an audit of the Federal Reserve, which has resisted attempts by lawmakers to force more transparency at the central bank. The measure has received broad bipartisan support, with co-sponsors on both sides of the aisle.

When Bernie Sanders and Ron Paul agree on something, that's pretty special. :)

Making the Fed a political tool of Congress is not a good idea, no matter how they spin an "audit".

An audit is not going to make the Fed a political tool for Congress. What it will reveal most likely is that we have been funneling money to European banks under the table, and I hope that people get outraged over that.

Keep believing that, especially when Congress starts tinkering with monetary policy.

Re: Obama XI: Turn And Face The Strange

At least the people at the Fed have a brain cell or two. I have no such hope for members of congress....

Please enlighten me as to how the Fed being forced to disclose where the money goes will enable Congress to control monetary policy?

Do you really think the results of any "audit", whatever it may be, won't give Congress incentive to start digging into the Fed's decision-making for rates, money supply, etc.? Perhaps they'll just read the audit findings, like they read their own legislation, and go their merry way. Fat f*ing chance ...

Considering how much weight I've shed since the brain surgery he needs some new material anyway. :)

Perhaps he will move on to the plethora of "Yo Mama" jokes he doubtless has saved up for me.

It's taken nearly a full year of behind the scenes backdealing just to get a simple audit bill to the floor for a vote, with absolutely no guarantee of it's passing.

But yeah, Congress controlling monetary policy, I'm sure the Fed will just let that slide...

Like the Fed isn't a political tool as it is.

And come on, you're acting like the Fed is some great fool-proof organization. They already play God with our economy to very questionable results. Might as well throw Congress into the mix and have a real great cluster ****.

It's a ***-for-tat... or maybe a ***-for-*** in this case. He wants to continue to spout snarky garbage, I'll spout snarky garbage. If he can dish it out, he can take it too. :)

Glad you're a fan, though. I've never gotten this much positive rep in my long USCHO career.

You had brain surgery? NO WAY!!!!!!! TELL ME MORE!!!!!!! Seriously, I want to hear all about it. Totally had no idea.

Perhaps he will move on to the plethora of "Yo Mama" jokes he doubtless has saved up for me.

Why, do I have a reason to?

Don't mind a little lighthearted jousting with Plante as its all in good fun. I've never been able to see why someone's brain surgery is fodder for put downs however, and anybody who engages in such conduct is a grade A scumball.
