I really thought it was about preserving individual liberty. Perhaps I've been naive. It's depressing.
Still, I wouldn't paint every conservative protester with that brush.

If it truly is about preserving individual liberties, where were they when George Bush was illegally tapping phones? When they were intervening in the Teri Schiavo case? When hundreds of thousands of people's financial information was being hacked into? Why weren't they screaming when Bush first authorized the bailouts?

Somehow, none of that stuff seemed to bother them. But, put a Democrat in te WH, a black one at that, and suddenly, they're claiming that he wants to kill grandma, and take over the entire country

Yes, they'll yell. But just the sheer volume, and about every little tiny thing, like speaking to kids about working hard in school, just the degree and intensity of the hatred, imply that it's about a whole lot more than simple policy disagreements.

I know people who wear a sidearm every day, whoopie freakin doo. Wear them in a grocery store, wear them in a resturant, why not at a political event? Its their right, at least for now

Because the radical left only understands that a protest involves burning cars, smashing windows, blocking traffic, tossing paint on peoples clothes, fire bombing a business, throwing pie in a persons face giving a speech. They wouldn't understand that it is LEGAL in most places to carry a weapon.

There's legitimate reasons and facts for the hatred of Bush, and if you questioned most people about why they did so, they could tell you why.

What's the reason for this Obama hatred, besides you know, the 'socialism', the 'death panels', the killing grandma, the 'missing birth cerificate' etc?

As I said, there's something a whole lot deeper going on here than just policy disagreements.

Watch this. These people don't have the slightest clue what they're protesting against. I daresay, not the slightest clue, period.

Why must it be more than policy disagreements, you were and are livid about Bush, you hate him, why can't others hate Obama based on what they've seen and heard. I don't doubt people hate cause he's black, its not all their is to this though.
