Awesome..thanks for the link. There is no way a Minnesota degree carries more weight than one from the Ivy League. Like I said enjoy your trips to South Bend..too bad you can't have a father/son reunion on the ice during those games. Here's the data:
Sorry UConn, you're barely in the top 120

we didn't go west of union or msg this year. we could easily fit in 2 more. (though as stated, the hea flotsam would have issues)
No, I mean in research. Just what I said. You clearly aren't keeping up. Notre Dame has always been the crown jewel in the Big Ten's crown. It's the one school that would likely break the rule. Plus there's the fact that they're not a full member. Just an affiliate and likely won't get access to the CIC until they join in all sports.

You stay classy New York City!
Can't be a crown jewel if they aren't in their crown. Last I knew they were in the ACC for all sports but football and hockey (no ACC hockey league). That will be a slight i$$ue for them getting out of that.
FWIW.......

Per sources, Notre Dame will keep its NBCSN contract ... You get what you give there Twin Cities!!!

Fine, Hope Diamond. Whatever.
I'd try to explain the strategy here, but I'm guessing my peasant English just isn't sophisticated enough.
Why are you willing to attribute Nebraska's med school to them in order to make the Huskers fit this Big Ten research model, but wouldn't for UConn's?
Further, why hasn't Indiana been kicked out yet? They look a lot like UConn, per this chart.

Not tough at all...I get paid to protect citizens and visitors of the most visited city in the US. You have now just proved your point loud and clear.I know. It must be tough coming up short to flyover country.

Well, at the time it was considered part of their school. Now it's not. I don't make the rules. Take it up with the AAU.

So why wasn't Nebraska part of the Big Ten when it was considered part of the school and now, not?
Because they were in the Big 12 and seemingly happy? Because the Big Ten was looking to expand?
