More solid period than expected and still 0-0. Need a full 5 minutes of effort and do NOT ice the puck like we did 3 times late in the third.

Face off loss, loss of possession, allow a free shot from the point with traffic an front and the deciding goal is scored. Deja Vu all over again. just gets harder to take when we do the same things

Had we won even that last face off, that goal is not given up. Lots of Over time games end in the first 20 seconds of OT and we just backed up and allowed it. Tough to take for a team that played well enough to deserve better.

Wonder when the last time was that we won a game in OT...

Have to go all the way back to 13 November 2015 vs. Yale.

I got to watch parts of both games over the weekend, and came away very encouraged for the future.
We played well on Friday, but ND was the best team on the ice.
The adjustments made overnight shows that we can play with anyone.
The result was disappointing, but the play was not.
I look forward to our play in the second half of the season.
