New snow on top of ice, I was doing about 30 on a slight decline in FWD high in an 06 Explorer, quite surprised, even tried the old school pumping of the brakes after doing the ABS hold down. Luckily for me no one at the intersection.

Pumping the breaks when you already have engaged the Antilock breaks does nothing for you. You're better off riding the Antilocks.

it's a five speed, however, the car could really use a 6th gear on the top end. The clutch will need replacement one of these days. I changed oil last year, and the old oil was in good shape. I have trailered triple the recommend weight, and the car handled it just fine.

It wasn't so bad for a while. We lasted for about 90 minutes, and then gave up. The worst part was playing goalie, since you weren't running around or moving a whole lot.
