One year anomaly. They are back in conference next year. Although admittedly, I bet Adrian would have been a heck of a lot better team to be in.and took a spot from a more deserving team !

I think the 5-6 week layoff was more the problem. I don’t care how much talent you have. That is an absolute killer playing a team that has been hitting its stride and in a groove for the last month.Congrats to Norwich. Hand up in that I was very wrong. I thought Salve had more. What waste of a bid.
I think every team in D3 hockey loses to Norwich last night if they were off 5 straight weeks before the game.

Norwich kind of lucky to even get it to OT honestly with a bad play by goalie gave them a gift of a goal.
Hamilton was better team and deserved the win.
Norwich definitely trending well. But aside from the NCAA Tournament appearance, this team wasn’t THAT different than the last few years.
Biggest thing that changed was the weaker league. Still, lots of positives and I think Dom is getting the team back engrained into the community and getting Mattson on the road and back into the recruiting will only help things moving forward.
The buzz is definitely back. Excited to see how they do moving forward.

Kudos to Cooper Bertrand on the AA award!
This post year was certainly more enjoyable to watch, from the change in style of play and the effort on the ice. There also were more off/ice interactions with fans this year than in the past several years (one note on that-getting the word out on those could be better).
Hopefully the schools financial situation, while improving, gets closer to being able to provide more meaningful financial aid to prospective students.
Dominick has done a great job coaching the program around in a new direction. I honestly have no idea how he didn’t get the LEC coach of the year award, it was deserved.
While his public speaking career is somewhat unpredictable, Steveo’s recruiting skills have always been top quality, and I certainly look forward to seeing who comes in next year.
