Norwich Hockey - Time to Regroup

No comments on the incoming guys (so far)?
According to the NZ commitments list, Norwich has more NAHL recruits for '26 than any other D3 program. I consider the NAHL to be the holy grail for D3 recruiting, and other than Norwich, the NESCAC teams seem to be the leaders in loading up on these blue ribbon recruits.

so 5 Forwards and 2 D to date, size wise pretty similar, with D a little larger. Got a 1PPG Forward, and the rest are 1/2 PPG or a little better, so some scoring increase I think. Couple players from same team, a player from the Timmy K connection that brought Larsen, so confident he will contribute.

I've long been impressed by Steve's recruiting touch, slightly less so on his video style, and Dom's style of coaching and his selections last year, so I think this is a group that will fit in fairly quickly.
Evan considering the limitations of the school, this looks like a pretty darn good class to add to the pieces still there.

Edit-missed one R hand shot from CCHL, who seems to fit the style and size of the other forwards.

Geneseo also looks primarily for NAHL recruits. They can usually start contributing on day one, and you can often put the dmen right into the rotation with good results. They have definitely started pushing out the NCDC guys at Geneseo (except for a couple teams; e.g. the NJ Hitmen).

Yeah when the ncdc 1st started it was only 12 teams and u could get some really talented players that just couldn't afford junior a hockey in canada. Now I think the league is 70 teams and is so watered down they're fighting with the EHL which isn't good.

Norwich is coming to Utica for the Teddy Bear Toss this year.
That's a big matchup! Kudos to Utica for really going after it on the non-conference schedule this year. Probably the toughest possible NC you can get.

Dawes has been to this before from his coaching days at Stevenson and maybe even Neumann to so he's well versed with the hype around the event and I'm sure was excited to bring the team to it.

Plattsburgh and/or Middlebury dropped from the non-conference schedule? Generally Norwich doesn't have much to play with for NC games because of the PrimeLink and their own tournament every year taking up four games.

As of right now I believe the most NAHL recruits for a D3 team is SUNY Cortland with 7, every recruit I have found for them is from the NAHL.

Can someone post a list? I can't find them all in one place. I'm not on social media.

With the schedule being released today, I can say that Dartmouth coming HERE for the exhibition was what I thought would get everyone excited.

I also like the aggressiveness of scheduling UNE and Utica as non-conference games.
