Honest question…Well, that didn’t help nor validate their last two wins, which were over cellar dwellers…
This is purely speculation (as a guy who believes Spidey is the better goalie at the moment). Coming in, Dawes probably went with the known entity. Sami was the guy (the only guy) last year. Without looking back, it does feel like they've been alternating starts the last few weeks. Hopefully, at minimum, that continues. I've HEARD that there is a belief that Sami is the more skilled player, but that Bryce has the better mindset (f*ck it, next shot matters). I'm not smart enough to know what is true, but it appears to me that Bryce is a far more vocal and better communicator out on the ice. I can usually hear him talking to the Dmen during play.Very frustrating game last night. The only reffing issue I had was the ridiculous embellishment call on Benjamin. The guys the smallest player on the ice and he got hammered.
Someone on another site pointed out that the highest ranked team Norwich has beaten is plymouth at number 48 in the NPI. The next few weeks are incredibly important and like krbFlint said at least last night didn't impact the LEC standings.
Genuine question for those who might know more. Why does Molu get so many more starts than Spidey? I'm not a coach and I'm not a goalie but he doesn't look better.
I was hoping for Jewel over McRaeFrustrating game yesterday. I couldn't friggin sleep last night I was so mad!!!! Hate losing to those nepo babies in blue. Big road weekend up ahead in New Hampshire. Would be awesome to get some momentum down a crucial home stretch with playoff implications. Have got to clean up the penalties. The one thing I could appreciate about an Ellsworth team was the discipline to stay out of the sin bin. Dawes has yet to get these dogs on the leash, as it has been an ongoing issue this year. I have a sneaky feeling that #19 Overbeeke is going to find a spark and finish with a point a game, along with Bertrand and Hilfiker lighting up the scoreboard this weekend as well! In other news, I am not supposed to spoil this, but as someone with a very reliable inside source, I will share this with you... Cadets will host NHL draft prospect CJ Bailey on a visit for the Babson game, so we need Kreitzberg ROCKING. I want to be able to hear the noise from Good Measure! Lastly the AD is pulling out all the stocks for that game using 1/4 of the athletic budget to get pop star Tate McRae to sing the national anthem!! Flint, thoughts?
More of a sabrina carpenter fan here.I was hoping for Jewel over McRae
I wish that I shared your excitement, LeBron. I simply cannot bring myself to watch the cadets anymore! Man do I miss the good ol’ days. Now, I rely on my wife’s boyfriend to provide me with game analysis and the inside scoop.Frustrating game yesterday. I couldn't friggin sleep last night I was so mad!!!! Honest question…
Are you a Norwich fan? When they win you’re a “yeah but…” and then they lose you’re a “see/told you so”.
Fair enough. Appreciate the detailed response.Yes, of course; just an extremely frustrated alum and fan. As I have mentioned, the success of the hockey programs represents one of the few things the entire NU community could rally around. The missteps taken by the Trustees with Anarumo’s selection, Broadmeadow’s hiring, the sentimental hiring of the AD, mismanagement of financial aid resulting in the severe weakening of sports programs in lower-tiered conferences, the complete destruction of the football program, the hiring of sycophants, and the utter refusal to acknowledge that winning sports teams are the recruiting gifts that keep on giving, have negatively influenced my relationship with NU. I used to travel hundreds of miles to attend four games a year. Now, I can’t muster the enthusiasm to watch the streaming. I check the scores, but essentially follow hockey vicariously through your posted analysis and observations as I know you’re close to the program.
I do notDo you wear an NU hockey jersey at the games?
Thought I may have had you ID’d.I do not
In the corner, front row?Thought I may have had you ID’d.
A couple he should have had, but he was let down by sloppy play in front of him also.Spidey not rewarding my faith tonight
Definitely. You’d think some of Ellsworth’s fundamental defense would be retained. The fourth goal in particular was a defensive comedy of errors.A couple he should have had, but he was let down by sloppy play in front of him also.
On the plus side, they are getting better shooting, resulting in goals.
No change at top of conference.
