He is on watch of NHL Central Scouting and had 85 points for the Kings. Norwich also has a recruit from the Kings, Dean Niezgoda and Senior Kyle Thomas also player there so it could be interesting to watch the three play. Hard to believe the season will start in 1 week.

My gut is we will be there ... may well be on a tape delay however ... when I know for sure I'll post here.

As to the roster ... Prez ... what's with two number 26's?

I know that Squier's ownership of both DEV and Thunder road makes things tougher for covering hockey next next week, but somehow it bothers me to see hockey overshadowed by a regional minor league vroom vroom circuit on a glorified 400 meter ttrack. Too bad they can't put one on AM and the other on FM - what is the point of having two stations in the same listening region with identical programming?

Bryce Currier has switched to #2 this season.

seems to be a even split (13/12) between American and Canadian , European players on this team.
Is this a normal split?

We've been right about 50/50 for atleast the last three years which are the years I have been here. I don't know about numbers prior but I want to say its been relatively close to 50/50 for quite some time now.

WDEV will air the Norwich at Dartmouth game on Sunday ... it will be on a tape delay after the NASCAR Sprint Cup Race at Kansas ... the Milk Bowl will not be run until Sunday the 28th.
WDEV will air the Trois Rivieres game live on Friday night the 26th.

WDEV broadcast will actually air at about 7:30 Sunday night ... it will follow the Patriots/Jets football game.

Norwich held its fifth annual Hockey Media Day yesterday in Doyle Hall and we had a healthy contingent of local media attend the event.

Both the men's and women's teams were interviewed about the upcoming season including Kyle Thomas, Pier-Olivier Cotnoir, Kayla Parsons, Stephanie Invernizzi as well as Coach Bolding and McShane.
