Given our history, either opponent would be interesting ;)

Re: Norwich hockey 2012-2013: Our thread closed before Owsego's

Perhaps we can add goal line cameras/video to each goal before the quarterfinals. :D

Chances are better than 50-50 according to my data that Babson could have gotten a Pool C bid, If that had happened, I think the seeding would have still lined up the same way.

That would be a great game and I'm sure the Cadets would want it.

Done deal ... if the Beavers take care of business against Wentworth! It would set up the most anticipated game outside of Middlebury/Castleton/Plattsburgh at Kreitzberg in years!

I hope the plan is for NSN to stream it. Your coverage was really good last weekend. (All 6 games, how's your voice holding up?)

Thanks Prof ... love the positive feedback ... don't know yet about video ... really out of my hands ... we'll be there for radio for sure ... voice almost failed me at the end of the women's game this afternoon ... but now I've got a week with just two state bouncy ball playoff games between me and Saturday ... hopefully it will be back strong by then.

I heard you struggling with the Women's game. I really wish I could be there - hope somebody does the video.

The only difference I had was flipping Utica and Norwich for their QF matchups. I think you were right that the Committee made Utica the #1 seed overall with Norwich being #2.

I'd argue it's more anticipated, rarely have we had a game at home against a team that we've gone 0-2-1 against that means more. This will be epic, and I can't see the Cadets bringing anything other than their A-game....can't wait.

What I figured was that Norwich would have been #1, but Babson would have made the field and would have been seeded lower - low enough to be in the bracket that would put them against #1 in the quarters.

Ultimately we would have seen the brackets set up for the Beavers to head for Northfield

Then why is Utica matched up to play the #1 west seed in the Semifinals?.

I had a dream last night.

Norwich defeats Babson (and solves Testa) in the quarterfinals on Saturday to advance to Lake Placid.
Norwich beats Oswego State in the semifinals at Herb Brooks Arena on the following Friday.
Norwich wins the national title against St. Norbert in double-overtime at Herb Brooks Arena on Saturday on a goal by Pier-Olivier Cotnoir.

and then PuckVoice goes on a well deserved vacation. :)

What a storied run that would be...I also saw this scenario playing out in my head and boy would that be fun....

Babson - The Kryptonite all season.
Oswego - Danced around each other for 4 years and both with huge impact senior classes giving it one more run.
St. Norbert - team that has ended your season 2 years in a row.

While that's nice to think about...all that matters is Saturday's game and who we face whether it be Babson or Wentworth. I wouldnt put it out of the realm of possibility to see Wentworth pulling an upset in that one.

Should Norwich and Oswego advance, there will be undergarment authentication for Prez to be sure there is some Hunter Green under that Maroon....meanwhile I hear "The Farkas" will be working on his tan...? #FarkasFail

Totally agree - I think it would be an epic run - I never count chickens before they are hatched and we need to take things one game at a time, but it is nice to dream occasionally. I don't know a lot about Wentworth.

Give us Babson - I want to see the rematch. I hope I get to see the game. I think if there is a "sleeper" team in this field, it's Babson. Let NU be the ones to take them down.
