Fun fact Norwich fans...

The men will be going for win #200 in Kreitzberg Arena on Saturday against UNE.

The Cadets hold an impressive 199-23-8 home record over the 14-year history of Kreitzberg.

An .882 home win percentage (ties counting as 1/2 a win) is impressive, but SNC's .920 at the Cornerstone Community Center kicks it up a notch.

Actually, that .920 is .883 (By my count, hurried and late, SNC is 162-17-10 at the CCC), which is still impressive. I think the .920 is for the last 143 games there. I could also point out a couple of Norwich losses at Kreitzberg were in national semi-finals matches. Still, a loss at home is a loss, no matter the stage.

More seats are now available for Saturday's game at www.cadetstickets.com.

UNE didn't need as many as they originally thought so there are more seats available. Get them while they last!

Derek, the online system only let me validate my season tickets for the quarter final game. According to Kevin's letter I thought I should have been able to take care of the semis and finals at the same time. If there's a problem I'll get down to Krietzberg tomorrow.

I'll ask about this and get back to you tomorrow morning.

I really do not know for sure because I have nothing to do with it, but my guess would be that Norwich needs to win the quarter before you can confirm your seats in case the semi and final are not at Norwich. We all know what needs to happen for this to be the case. Just my thoughts!

You are right on the money. We will release next round when we move on.

As long as I can get my prime seats that is fine with me. Move me out from behind the net, and I'll be grumpy

Norwich junior forward Kyle Thomas has been named of 18 semi-finalists for the 2012 Joe Concannon Award presented annually to the best American-born hockey player in New England at the Division II/III level.

Congrats to Kyle, he's a great player. And another honor for Norwich, says a lot about the coaching and the quality of the players. All of us fans are very proud of all of you!

Hey Cadet fans ... mighty quiet around here ... have you forgotten there is a playoff game tomorrow night?
Word is there is a more that adequate supply of tickets still left for the game ... hope you folks aren't getting over confident ... Did you see what happened to UVM bouncyball this week ... beaten by a team that had not won a game all year? Don't take any game for granted ...

Not that I am anywhere near the place, but are the roads open? Prezde said 10" of snow.

Of course, you have snowplows. Down here in MD, we'd be shut down for a week.

Roads are open.

Initial prognosis a little high. Maybe more like 6 inches.

I remember a game against UMB a few years back that I took for granted...
