There were five players, most likely including Forkey and Thomas who were told by McShane to sit out one game for "violating team rules." Due to FERPA, such names aren't announced, and the nature of the violation is not disclosed. Based on who didn't play but should have we can speculate on who they were.

Wow, they sure looked good last night. I was really impressed with the guys that did play. Poor UNE didn't stand a chance. They were fast and swarming. Now add in Forkey and Thomas and Allan, and I hear that a freshman D-man that didn't play is quite good too. I think it's going to be another good year. That goalie for UNE is going to steal some games for them this year. It looked like he just got tired, which no one can blame him for as he was getting shelled.

And my wife told me that there is a baby changing station in the women's bathroom now. I didn't check out the men's room yet. But she was happy, and if she's happy then I'm happy. :)

First trip to Norwich since 05. Got bathrooms yet!!!! It's a joke!!!!! Maybe see some of you guys there . Meet prez last weekend !!!!

Re: Norwich Cadets Hockey 2010-2011: Title defense time.

On a whole different issue, the bathroom was very nice, and it's kind of cool having video monitors showing the game out in the lobby. Now if we just had a video scoreboard - no I don't have the money - surely somebody does.
Wouldn't video monitors in the bathrooms be a higher priority?

I was just wondering if anyone knew where Steven Schroeder went, I see Scott is still on the roster but Steven has left. Transfer? Hang up the skates? He was a great player last year.

Stayed home in Saskatchewan. Something about a girl I hear...

or is it Central Connecticut, as in Central Connecticut State University? If that is the case, I may have finally found a reason to dislike Joe! :D

Clarkson College of Technology

My daughter thought about going there, but cooler heads prevailed and she went to St. Lawrence - My third favorite NCAA hockey program.

Are there any pictures from them raising the banner? Did all of the graduates make it back for the ceremony? I know Serino did not as he is in basic training with the National Guard, but curious about the others and if any one knows if they are playing anywhere?

That's Thomas S. Clarkson Memorial College of Technology, whose motto is "A workman that needeth not to be ashamed". When they changed the name to Clarkson University, something was lost (like low tuition).

Depending on the major, SLU is a very good school.

MAYBE, Norwich and Dartmouth ;)

On a side note, when I lived in Potsdam in the mid-1990's, a girl from SLU used to drive a $300,000 Lamborghini, I remember it sitting to low for the McDonald's drive-thru.

My daughter drove shank's mare - Transportation to and fro was on Mom and Dad.

I suspect Lambo girl was on mom & dad too (and it wasn't a "replicar" either), but also, to be fair, SLU not only as you note, has great programs, they also offer very generous scholarships to financially disadvantaged students, and they also actively promote those scholarships to North Country high school guidance counselors – I do have significant respect for them.

Just going from the Cadets look faster and bigger from one watcher of the Maroon & Gold scrimmage. I watched the So. ME vs. Norwich on Video (thanks) and they played them about the same as last year at So. ME. Just an off game or are we expecting too much?

Southern Maine is a good team. They've got all the makings for a dangerous team. Clog the passing lanes, block shots, good goaltender, bonafide top flight scorer (Zach Joy), physical.
