Sometimes kids don't come back to school for a lot of reasons, $$, family, etc. Same holds true for some that don't continue in a sport at this level....People shouldn't read too much into who's missing and then speculating why.

Not so much reading anything into it, just very surprised:confused:

No Craig Charbonneau, Mark Collins or Steve Shroeder. The first 2 didn't really play, but Steve Shroeder was a contributor. His brother is back. What happened to Steve?

Love

Makes you wonder if Norwich is going to bring in a couple of guys mid term to help fill out the roster. Last year they played a lot more than 20 guys because of injuries. I recall Rick Cleaver and Marino Chinelli (two great players) joined the team mid term. Brings up the question again if a team should over recruit a little?

In reference to Mark Collins, I thought he rearlly improved his game toward the end of the season and contributed a lot in his role as a third or fourth line player. Didn't he play in the NCAA final against St. Norbert's?

25 isn't a bad number. You're only allowed to dress 21, so four guys sitting each night isn't terrible unless injuries start to pile up.

It may be a little light but coach has shown that he can usually bring in a guy at the semester break and I'm sure if he sees fit after the team's first eight games, he will do so.

Maybe Steve will be back?;)

I don't have a definite date that will be available but I do know that it won't happen before the Men's Ice Hockey Media Day where we take all their headshots and get the big team photo at center ice before all the logos are roughed up.

However, to wet your appettite, you can currently view the men's soccer, women's soccer, and football media guides through www.norwichathletics.com

We are working with a website company this year that allows us to host our media guides online and it actually acts like you're turning a book page by page. It's pretty neat.

Check it out because once the men's and women's ice hockey media guides are completed, they'll be up there too.

Another new feature we are working on this year is a weekly student-athlete feature that will focus on a NU athlete with an interesting story.

Last week we debuted with Brittany Casey of the women's ice hockey and soccer team and this week we will be featuring a football player with an incredible story that should be posted today.

Had a chance to point out the Hawk to Prez as he slipped out of Doyle Hall. For just a second I thought he might be bringing in my steak, ya right.:D :D

Re: Norwich Cadets Hockey 2010-2011: Title defense time.

Was it my speaking role in the video??

Commo's voice and the arc of swords entrance.

It's my personal goal to make that a staple of EVERY home game. That is honestly the coolest entrance I have ever seen for a college hockey team. It MUST become tradition IMHO.

I watch all of the NU100 videos every month or so, always gets me excited for hockey.

Did any of you make it up to the Gut for the UVM openers?

r

I haven't made it there yet but I plan on getting to a game soon.
