While perusing one of the Capitals fan blogs, ran across this nice write up on Nikita Kashirsky. Thought you might be interested.

It has been very interesting watching all the Norwich players that turned pro develope there skills, especially there defensive and special teams skills during there career's as Cadets. Thanks for attaching a copy of the article.

Keith Aucoin was placed on waivers today by the Capitals.

If no one claims him, he'll be assigned to Hershey where he led the league with 106 points last year in 72 games and was named the league's MVP while leading the Bears to their second straight Calder Cup trophy.

I'm not sure what I want for him. Clearly he's got the talent to play in the show and jsut hasn't been given the opportunity between being with the Canes when they won the Cup to now on one of the best offensive teams in recent history.

However, from everything I've heard, Keith is making a solid living and is a rockstar in the Hershey area. Can't argue with that.

It's tough to decide which way I'd like it to go. He's with a great organization right now and in a good situation with Hershey. However, you have to wonder if a team like the Bruins/Islanders etc might take a flyer on him to bring him back to the Northeast where he's from.

Plus neither of those teams were all that strong last year and it's not like they couldn't use a playmaking center.

When you only bring in 25, you don't have to cut anybody:rolleyes: :)

But what about the "tryouts" that some people around here like to occasionally claim go on at every school every year!!!!!!?????

No Craig Charbonneau, Mark Collins or Steve Shroeder. The first 2 didn't really play, but Steve Shroeder was a contributor. His brother is back. What happened to Steve?

You are good at riddlespeak
