Derek Dunning, a journalism major from SUNY Oswego, will also be joining the department as an assistant director.

Dunning has extensive experience in sports reporting and media relations. He is currently a sports reporter for a local newspaper and a writer for U.S. College Hockey.

Checked out the new addition to the hockey rink and athletic facilities yesterday. I always thought that a good addition looks like it was part of the original design and this one falls into that category, although all of Norwich's new buildings look good. The bathrooms are also working and look about the same size as the Middlebury bathrooms. A good portion of the addition is new office/classrooms for the athletic department or possibly other functions. Open house will probable be at the football game this weekend. Curious if new standing room capacity will be increased with the snack bars now in the lobby.

It would be great for fans to here the results of the ECAC East restructure, however, from what I have heard I am very happy that St. A's is going to continue in the league with there D2 status. How can you not like a very competitive program which has a D1 like facility a little over 2 hours from Northfield. Last year St. A's was very competitve with all the interlock teams. If only they would drop down to D3 in all sports?

New SID and A-SID, any chance of getting some photos posted of Doyle Hall sometime in the near future? It could be a year before i get back to nfld!
