Logically, I would think you'd have to be good for 5 years before you can be a "perennial power." When you reach that stage, none of the players now on the team were part of the start of the run - Calling Adrian a perennial power is kind of like calling Norwich's women's team a perennial power. It's premature to bestow that title on them.
(Of course, we spend so much time in this forum discussing Adrian, that some may forget there was a time in the not-so-distant past when Adrian was a first-year program.)

I didn't mean for it to be a knock on Adrian. i know they're a great team. I just find it amusing to hear the term "perennial power" applied to a 3rd-year program![]()
