Commo would be our best bet as I wasnt there either.

How come you weren't at the women's game last night supporting cancer research hawk?

I am a big suporter of the Norwich's womens team but was tied up this weekend. It is amazing how Mark Bolding has brought the program to such a high level in only a couple of years.

You have a great attitude Charlie, I wish I met the requirements to be a donor. Let's hope that one will show up soon.

Wow, everybody if you're not on the registry, get on it. One of my wife's best friends had a BMT 15 years ago because of breast cancer, and she's still going strong. Her donor came from Germany through the registry.

I just registered, says I should get my kit in about a week.

Were I currently in the United States, I would absolutely register right now. I will, however, do so when I return stateside in May.

Nate, there should be a way to register internationally. My wife's friend's donor was found in Germany. The registry is international.

This weekend is also the Class of '67' Mini-Reunion. Always has been successful during this annual event. This will only be the second one that I have missed in the past 8 yrs. Hockey, food, drinks, classmates....what could be better.:D

The team looked ready to play tonight in all three periods. I hope we see this the rest of the season.

Re: Norwich Cadets Hockey 2010-2011: Title defense time.

Well, Parker Carroll looked very good in net tonight. The offense was impressive as well, although only getting 2 past Bendel was a bit of a downer.

Bendel looked very good. He didn't get out of position, and stayed with it. He made some really good saves. It seems like goalies really do up their focus a notch against the Cadets. Give him a lot of credit.

During the second period on the the UMB power play Carroll looked very good. He made some good saves and looked confident - which has been my concern about Dubois. The defense kept a lot away from him, but when he had to, he made the stops.

Prof, check LPS, Adrian isn't playing Concordia (WI) this weekend?! No?

That has been my concern too. The only way Dubois can gain confidence is time and effort, remember he is only a sophmore. However, that time and effort may need to wait for the off season, Norwich needs to keep winning to have any hope in going to the NCAA's. I only hope that Dubois has the patience to improve, because I do believe he has the ability to be a top Div.III goalie, he just needs experience and confidence. Right now, I think Carroll is ahead of Dubois in the confidence section and thus is a better choice for #1 goalie.

Re: Norwich Cadets Hockey 2010-2011: Title defense time.

I'm right behind the South goal, so I get to see a lot of how the goalies play - the biggest improvement I ever saw in a goalie at NU was Klinger, who just got more and more confident in the way he played. Confidence is such a big deal for goalies, and over the years, I've learned to read it pretty well.

Carroll looks more focused and confident than Dubois right now. I think Dubois has more quickness, more upside, but once he lets in a bad goal he gets rattled doesn't bounce back real well.

Re: Norwich Cadets Hockey 2010-2011: Title defense time.

You know, I sat down and thought about it today. If Plattsburgh State played Norwich 25 times in a season and beat them all 25 times, Norwich would still manage to be ranked higher in the USCHO Poll. :D
