Remember, being employed by Norwich Athletics does not mean they are just a source of information for us... it means that they are working at Norwich to make a living, and in all likelihood would very much appreciate maintaining that employment... rather than lose it so you can have the satisfaction of knowing a name that you will see printed on the back of a jersey in a few months anyway.
Side note: I was about to say "in a month or so" but then I remembered the stupidity of the NESCAC and scheduling constraints. That is, perhaps, one upside to this divorce for the ECAC-East schools

Salem never saw the numbers on the back. All we saw were the darn cavalry attacking in waves.Let's not argue about the schedule thing. I like it they way it is because it makes for a really solid January and February without a bunch of weekends with no games because you spent them in October and early November. Your mileage may vary...

Hey, he's part of the team - the reality is if the team had no numbers, you'd still know who he is...Ah, the magical aura of class created by a single tenuous degree of separation. I know I've enjoyed the board's various reminiscences on the exploits of Anonymous Norwich Hockey Player #15 over the past summer.
