Norwich 2018-19 Season Thread: The Ellsworth Era begins

Good luck. It's a long road from here out. My kids are nearing 40 and even when they get that age, you still have to have your "dad" shoes on.

2004 was last 4-0 start. Been fun to watch. Last spring/early summer I had a good feeling about where things were trending. 30 seniors on this year’s team including returning basically every starter on defense and most of the top returning players on offense at the skill positions.

Even though they went 3-7 last year there were a lot of close losses.

Add in a couple of good coaching hires after two coaches left and you have the perfect storm brewing to a 4-0 start.

Team has played well and overcome adversity pretty much the whole season so far.

Romero is a special player too and that certainly helps things to have a game changer at WR and also in the return game on special teams.

Big test this week at Springfield. Traditionally a strong program that is off to a slower start by their standards but still one of the toughest tests the team should face all season.
