Norwich 2018-19 Season Thread: The Ellsworth Era begins

I have been toying with dumping cable all together, I need the YES channel and I believe only HULU carried YES. On a free trial I found out that they only televise the Yankee games an hour and half after the game is over.
This PLAYERS CLUB looks interesting, I will look into that

YES network plus the MLB package (all games)...

I dumped cable. I was paying 122.00 for tv. I hooked up with YouTube TV. 49.99 per month. Includes YES and local channels. 77 channels in all. Also has unlimited DVR and 3 streams at the same time.

I too have dumped DTV for YouTube TV. It works good and the cost is much better.

looks like another blue chip class coming in , another possible run for sure.

Should be an exciting year in Northfield for sure, but a lot of things went right for the Cadets last year during that big run. The competition is so tight nowadays with so many good teams.

In the event anyone is interested in quenching their thirst for Norwich athletics until the first puck drop, Ronny Dimasi has begun a docuseries on Cadets football. It’s called “Behind the Shield”. Episode 1 has been released and is available here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=x3uz97dSqPc

On a related note, got my first experience with the new streaming system in watching the Cadets football team move to 2-0 today. Overall, it's really high quality. There were a couple times where it had to buffer or I had to refresh the page, but that seems almost inevitable with internet streaming. As for the look and quality, the marquee at the bottom and the picture quality was super crisp. My only complaint was the lack of a clock on the scoreboard.

Anxiously awaiting the start of the 2019-20 season! In Florida, it is not so much how cool it gets in the evening, but how early the sun sets as an indication that Hockey Season is coming. Are we close to getting a new thread started and more info about who is who on the team? Hope so. Everyone get excited and support the Cadets!
