It's OK if he wants to play head games with us. We don't pay much attention to his opinions since he told us, in no uncertain terms, that Jamie Oleksiak would never make it at the D1 level. He should go away and only return if PC plays us in the Championship game!

So I got the promotional email from NU Athletics about the pre-game gathering. Wanted to ask some of you for your opinions before deciding to go. I haven't been to one of these in ages for a few reasons: 1. They usually s*cked 2. They had a couple of cheap food items which they ran out of 3. Peter Roby was there.

Can anyone who's been recently tell me if they have upped their game in this department? Is it worth going? FWIW, I am hoping Peter Roby is there and may just go to see him blow up at someone he dislikes. Remember....You question him, he recoils in horror and then attacks like a Junk Yard Dog. You have been warned :-) #pregame-entertainment #Robymustgo

West End Johnnies (138 Portland).. 5:30-7:30.. right down the street from the rink.
They'll prob have a cash bar & you can always order off the reg menu as well.. (besides appetizers which i believe are included in the pre-gm deal).

I get that pregame gatherings are fun and all, but if my team was in your position (the later game) I would miss out because I would want to go to the first game as well because it's looking like it's going to be two fantastic games, and I wouldn't want to miss a second of either.

On the Beanpot thread when we were discussing low attendance I made a comment about how these days people only care about watching the game their team is playing in, which is why the Garden looks half empty both games - true for recent Beanpots and HE tournaments.

I get that sitting in the Garden for 7 hours, paying $15 for a beer and another $15 for food is a bit much (I don't buy beer or food at the Garden ever), but then again we get a barn burning hockey double header so...

IDK just my ramblings...

You can find me at Sullivan's...no need to stand thirteen deep at a bar staffed by 2 people with day old leftovers being passed off as appetizers. Just sayin' Hope to see you there too ;)

Did not receive any emails from the community college known as u mass Lowell, the only program I know of that their own leaders try and eliminate every few years
