Re: Northeastern Huskies 2014 Offseason: Resurrection's Over....Now What?
That is because they are no longing coming.
From what I understand, Couturier and his advisor/(father) decided last spring that he was ready to play D1. We disagreed + we didn't have Scholarship $ + we had a full complement of D's + a couple of other things. We cut him free and no one else picked him up. He is supposed to play for the Jr. Bruins this season. Hopefully he attracts another D1 school. Otherwise....
Duschesne, OTOH, was discovered to be doing something that is verboten in most places. That is why he and a UMass recruit (two of the team's top players) were suspended for the team's playoffs last year. Last I heard, The UMass player was still in line to attend, but JM won't tolerate that kind of activity and will possibly provide the boy some help in finding a spot elsewhere.
I believe that both of these players have been replaced opn the recruit board. Barry, for example, should prove to be a very good pickup.
Just checked Heisenberg's 2015 page and Duchenese and Courtinier are not listed?
