Kyle Singleton scores his 1st goal of the season...Merrimack scores their first SHG of the season...NU watches the same old movie.
 
Gotta say.. Witt did not look that great in the 3rd.. carried in to OT. The team in front of him (after a slow start).. was playing pretty well second half of the gm..

Lesson: its a 60 (+) min gm.. congrats 'Mack.
Let's regroup tomorrow.

officials were reviewing if a NU shot (benning's shot on the pp) actually went in.. versus just hitting (inside of the cross bar it seemed)..
this was right before Mack got the 2x1 rush the other way to score..

..reviewed it.. no goal.. then guys were confused whether they shake hands tonight or just go back to the lockers.. coaches, refs sorted that out..
anyway.. quick turnaround.. back at it 4pm tomorrow.. season on the line & all.
 
We didn't play 5 OTs.. but Witt giving that shortie sure feels similar in the gut.. congrats as well to the Minutemen..

let's get it together Huskies!
