Northeastern Huskies 2014-15 Season Thread Part II: It Ain't over!!

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2014-15 Season Thread Part II: It Ain't over!!

You haven't met Nick, have you?
Negatory.
Is this something that will enrich my life? Something I should look forward to and seek to accomplish? Will such a meeting help me to be a better Husky?:D

Re: Northeastern Huskies 2014-15 Season Thread Part II: It Ain't over!!

I wonder if NU could turn this program around if an Alumni gave the program $100 million. Look at Penn State. Terry and Kim Pegula give the school a $100 million gift to start a D-1 hockey program in the middle of Pennsylvania and in three short years, they have a winning D-1 program. Their 5,000 seat arena sells out every home game, with rabid fans and students.

First of $100 million is a lot of money & can do a whole lot of good elsewhere at the U. Just need the right personnel & program will / should fit nicely (and respectfully in Hockey East).. okay a little bit of dough wouldn't hurt.. fine, but not any outrageous sum. just my .02..

I don't think just $0.02 will change much :P

However much it takes to "convince" the powers that be to promote Madigan to Roby's job and let him hire a new coach should be enough.

Slim chance Madigan would now get Roby's job with the basketball winning their tourney tonight.. & dancing their way to the NCAA & March Madness.. congrats to those Huskies btw.

Hey Roby, now can you show the hockey some love & attention.. & attempt some serious changes..
