UNH is getting playing really undisciplined tonight. If UNH continues to play this way, NU will look back at this as a lost chance to win the game.

too many blown chances (pp especially) by NU.. too many by UNH as well for that matter.. we gotta get something going tonight otherwise its lights out.

just under 5 mins to go.. 1 goal gm UNH. Guess we're playing just enough to hang..barely.. but need a bot more to overcome the 1 goal lead.

Meanwhile ND puts up a touchdown on BC.. no lack of offense there tonight!.. cmon dogs.. it aint over..

Probably, UNH normally does not take this many penalties and NU could not make them pay for it.

UNH also did a better job of getting in shooting lanes, blocking shots, and when they did DeSmith was there.

I said earlier, seemed like a typical NU game. Get outplayed, keep the puck in our zone, struggle to get shots. Tonight though they were not able to come up with a goal or two like they did earlier in the year and then ride it out with Witt.

Wasnt a big fan of the lines honestly. Not they really matter in the end, just because its written down that way on a lineup does not mean they stick with it during the game, but I would have stuck with worked against Maine, even though it did not against bu.

we have 1 goal against UNH in our last 3 gms.. just not a good matchup for us..

LOL we should have been dead last and over the last 10 games we pretty much were! See you all next season, GO Irish! At least they kicked the **** out of BC and in a 2 game best of points series this is a huge win! As they have beaten BC 2x at home in a row! Anyway 18 wins is nice, we never beat BC or BU and as a true Beantown Husky, now that the NCAA hopes are over I would have preferred going 5 and 28, if those were all wins against the Eagles and the Terriers! Talk to you in October! BTW if K Roy plays next year, I would be surprised!

..would be kinda strange bedfellows/ crazy to see ND, Prov, Lowell, UNH at the Garden if all the series pan out from tonight..

sigh, cheering for NU over the years.. now I feel what a Buffalo fan feels like..
not giving up though.. just looking for some hope!.. :)

We beat BC last year...and BU for that matter. Actually we beat BU twice. Now back to more important things, we need to win tonight obviously.

I'd keep the defense the same, and might pair Szmatula and Roy together and move Hedges up to 2C.

Yes, let's keep the faith. The best news from last night is that the amazing Clay Witt is back. And the PP was able to keep the puck in the zone for almost the entire PP. The bad news is that the offense has disappeared and once we were in the zone on the PP, we just watched two people playing catch on the same side the whole time instead of hitting somebody on the weak side or at least reversing it to the other side. We need more from Roy - he needs to attack more and, if he is bottled up, he needs to make the nice pass instead of taking shots that have no chance of reaching the net. After all, the four assist night was his best game in the last 10, so he can be the set-up man instead of the finisher. If we win tonight, the pressure shifts back to UNH for game three. Let's come out flying and spend a three-day weekend on the lake.

Not too hard to understand when they play the same guys over and over. Doesn't give some guys ice time to succeed.

Hedges up to the first line with Roy with ZAR. Stevens down to the third line where he belongs. Schechter 7th dman and 4th line LW I guess. This is where you miss having the Ferriero brothers on the team. Someone to try to mix it up in the forwards. Zero of that right now.
