After the Noonan hit I was yelling at him, not the refs. If he stays suspended he'll have gotten what he deserves.

If that was clear to everyone at the game then Guzior's antics the night before had to be clearly thuggery to everyone in a 5 mile radius, no?:)

Between the generalization that it was obvious to everybody (clearly false, considering how many people didn't interpret it that way, whether they should have or shouldn't have) and the use of the word head-hunting, which suggests more than Noonan just hitting someones head with his elbow... I'm pretty grossed out!

Stupid and dirty plays are easy to see.

So, I read the write up on USCHO and it says that LaPlante will be suspended for the start of next season for the same thing. Was that......planned? Meaning, they knew they had to suspend Cronin and if they suspended all the assistants, too, who would coach the team? I feel kinda bad for LaPlante.

You have to suspend the head coach right away in a situation like this. I am guessing they didn't suspend LaPlante so that they could keep a coach in place but I don't know what the NCAA is going to think of keeping a coach in place who was involved in the violations to begin with. If LaPlante is just as guilty as Cronin and O'Connell then I find it difficult to feel bad for him because they should have been more aware of the NCAA rules to begin with.

Whatever, let them be psyched up about it. Any news on Warsofsky or Parker's protest to the league on Noonan?

Do any NU kids know if they are selling visitor tickets at Blackman? I'm not really big on paying the $8 dollar extra fee (possibly twice).

As for Guzior, dude is a 25-year old husband/father and one helluva goon. Which is funny to begin with. Add in Friday night when he jumped at Nicastro...one of the funniest/most outrageous things I've ever seen at a hockey game. It was also a really stupid play since Nicastro had just matched the original penalty but I'm pretty sure Guz isn't exactly the brightest bulb.
