As stated below- I can not accept these conditions!!!! They may play at any point this weekend, but ROMEO will start ON FRIDAY per a source!!! IF HE WANTS TO BET THAT...LET'S GOOOOOOO!!!! SHAN O MAC!!! SAUCED!!!

2 time National Champ program doesn't really mean a whole lot this weekend. We'll see how it goes but I feel pretty good going into the weekend for once in my life as a Huskies fan. (We usually lose whether I feel good or bad so there's no such thing as a jinx)

There are about ten reasons why Romeo won't start Friday (Including the hope that Maine may win). There is only one reason why he may start. That is because they would really like to have him transfer in order to retrieve his scholarship. Starting him, and hoping he has a horseshoe up his arse, would be a way to showcase him for other schools. If they were going to do that they should have started him last Saturday in a game that wouldn't have changed a thing for either team. If I were Red Gendron, I'd go with McGovern. He played far better on Friday than Morris played on Saturday.

Just wrote a really long post about the Stevens brothers and my browser closed on me. The cliff notes version:

-Johnny should wear the C next year.
-Nolan is en route to becoming the best all around NU forward since Joe Vitale.
-I love that we're getting back to leaders who can kill penalties and are terrific all-around players.
-With Roy's injury I think that leadership transition has already started.

The same source that told me about Romeo is reporting that Nolan will win HE Player of the Month and Ruck The Anti-Sieve will win HE Rookie of the Month!!! #GoNU

The rules are different in the post-season. These aren't NU (or anyone else's) home games. It's where the various leagues and NCAA make their $$$ for the year.

Exactly. In the 2014 quarterfinals for example, some Lowell fans were taken aback that Vermont's band was allowed to set up in the Tsongas and didn't realize that HE pretty much runs the show. Same with sponsorship announcements as many of the usual in-game announcements were replaced by HE sponsor-related things. You have home ice but the league dictates ticket prices, allowing the visiting band to be present, and other things.

Not looking forward to being subjected to BU's band next weekend in the quarterfinals at Tsongas!

Two outstanding players - if you are a Huskies fan, you have to have enjoyed watching both of these guys play. Offensively, I think N. Stevens is the better of the two. Joe Vitale scored 94 points and was one of the favorites if not the favorite player of Cronin. I think Nolan, barring injuries, will score well over 100 points and is good enough to follow Vitale’s footsteps into the NHL. If this team does anything significant the rest of this year, or in the next couple of years, I think that you will find him in the center of the success.

Gotcha. Hope NU can beat Maine in two so I don't have to spend money on Sunday. Does anyone know what the situation is with Notre Dame? I know they're games that aren't on NBCSN are on the NBC app. Will HE make you buy those games as well?

It should be noted that Northeastern isn't producing the stream this weekend. So it isn't like HEA is suddenly charging for our services, they're charging for their own. I'm told to expect it to be lower quality than the xstream, so if you have the chance to get to Matthews that's another reason to come I guess.

its $10 bucks/gm (if you're not in the area.. no tolls/ parking etc).. not the end of the world..
think of all the free gms we've got over the years (thanks NU).. averages out pretty good.
